Dr Malcolm Chapman is Senior Lecturer in International Business in CIBUL. He is a social anthropologist by training and he received his DPhil from the University of Oxford. His research interests centre around the application of social anthropology and its research methods to international management and the formulation of international business strategy. He is the author of numerous theoretical and applied journal articles, and of chapters in books, on the interface of social anthropology with other disciplines, and has a special interest in the role of culture in international management. He is the author of The Celts: The construction of a myth, published by Macmillan (1992).
