Research descriptions:
Reverse knowledge transfer becomes a critical strategy for Chinese FDI investing in UK to acquire advanced technology & managerial expertises and bring them back home. Previous studies have mainly looked for the impact of organizational variables on the reverse transfer, leaving individual’s factors largely underexplored. By using discourse analysis, the researcher will particularly focus on repatriate’s the competence to frame and communicate his/her knowledge in a meaningful and acceptable way. The aim of this research is to reveal more the implications of language and culture on international knowledge transfer through a trans-disciplinary approach.
