28th January 2012, Karting Event

CIBUL colleagues and PhD students attended a karting event on 28th January 2012.

All racers will receive an induction and made familiar with the health and safety regulations; Following that there will bea 10min qualifier and a 20min race

9th May 2011, CIBUL Lunch

CIBUL staff and PhD students are warmly invited to a CIBUL lunch which will take place on the 9th of May 2011 at 12.30 at the Faversham on campus.

15th December 2010, German Christmas Market

CIBUL are arranging a visit to the German Christmas Market in Leeds City Centre Millenium Square on 15th Decemeber 2010.

CIBUL PhD's and Staff will be meeting at Cromer Terrace at 17:30 to make their way to the "Christkindelmarkt" to sample a variety of German delicacies.

CIBUL PhD's and staff took part in a wine tasting event in LUBS 1.44, the theme this year was "Nothern and Southern Italy". The wines were presented by Paul Howard from Wine Alchemy.

CIBUL PhDs and staff met at Cromer Terrace to make thier way to the German Christmas Market to sample some mulled wine, and other German delicacies. A table was booked in the main beer tent.

The event was held in LUBS room 1.44. The wines were presented by Paul Howard from Wine Alchemy. The theme this year was "Northern and Southern France"

Cibul PhDs and staff will be meeting at Cromer Terrace to take a guided tour of the Marks & Spencer Museum.

CIBUL PhDs and staff will be meeting at the German Christmas Market to sample some mulled wine, and other German delicacies. We are hoping for at least as good time (and mulled wine) as we had last year.
