LEADERS ADVISE OUR MANAGEMENT STUDENTS

The Leaders in Residence programme brings together experienced professionals to share their top tips, expertise and diverse experiences of the corporate environment with our Management students. We ask our Leaders to be open, honest and challenging in their discussions.

The network consists of chief executives, partners, managing directors, entrepreneurs and early career professionals, many of whom are alumni.

We connect the theory we teach with real world practice; our Leaders interact with students through conference days which are held as part of compulsory core modules across UG and PG teaching. Much of the activity centres on mini mentoring round table discussions which help the students improve their commercial awareness, understand leadership and management (and the differences) and support personal development.

60% are University of Leeds Alumni, and are from a variety of industries and experience; major manufacturers, retailers, charity chief executives, entrepreneurs and directors of companies large and small.
