Study Abroad at Leeds University Business School
The University of Leeds has one of the most extensive exchange programmes in the UK. In 2016/17 we have a record number of 81 LUBS students studying abroad at our partner universities in Australia, Asia, Canada, USA, Latin America and Europe. Visit the Destinations page to find out more about our partners.
Having an international experience is a fantastic way to add value to your degree. You can gain global and cultural insight and develop key employability and transferable skills. It is also an opportunity to develop new or existing language skills and broaden your academic horizons. In terms of personal development, you can have an amazing life experience too! Visit the Student Feedback page to learn more about the experiences of some of our LUBS students.
This website and the LUBS study abroad team are here to help you in making the initial decision to study abroad. We will then support you through researching destinations and the application process, whilst you are abroad and also once you return back to the UK in order to make the most of your experiences, articulate what you have gained and also become a key part of the LUBS study abroad community!
"My study abroad experience has been incredible and such a worthwhile year that should be considered by all future LUBS students. This year has provided so many opportunities to learn, travel and broaden my outlook on life."
Emma James studied abroad at Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
"I can't express how much I've enjoyed my year abroad. Not only from a sense of fulfilment but also because of the amount I've learnt about myself and the American culture. From never travelling alone to visiting over 20 states and meeting people from all walks of life I was able to gain a self-awareness and improve my communication skills ten-fold."
Lewis Owen studied abroad at the University of Kansas, USA.
